Blue&Me is an infotainment system available on some Fiat Group vehicles. Based on the Windows Embedded Automotive platform (union of the Windows CE operating system with Microsoft Auto middleware) it is developed by Magneti Marelli (a FIAT group company) in collaboration with Microsoft. Its main functions are as a speakerphone for your mobile phone and as a media player.

Frequent faults:
The most frequent description is  "the kilometers are flashing and the battery is flat"
the explanation for this fault is given by the lack of dialogue with the panel which keeps the communication active for the continuous search and given the absorption of almost half an ampere in a few hours the battery goes down.

What goes wrong: 

some of the electronics are branded Samsung and the internal memories are no different from those of cell phones except that here temperatures and continuous stress put them to the test, so they break, desolder or simply lose data.

What does the repair consist of:

Depending on the type of memory, the repair is carried out but the decisive part consists in completely reprogramming the unit with a j-tag programmer which rewrites the original software.
